6/11/09 - Heimana competes in the expert division of the WW week 1 miniramp contest recieving a podium for his 3rd place efforts. Heimana ollies the 12 stair.
6/8/09 - Camp WW week 1 begins. All week Heimana is vert training with Neil Hendrix and Lincoln Ueda then big street and bowl training with Dyson Ramones, Andre Genovise, Curren Caples, Louis Lopez, David Loy, Aaron Astorga and a host of others.
6/7/09 - Arrive Woodwardwest for week 1. Heimana is evaluated at the top of his class.

02/20 - 02/22/09 - Heimana has been preparing for skateboard competitions for the last 3 years. Last week,
Heimana and his father Matt, left the 80 degree weather for the 20 degree weather of Minnesota. The King of the Groms,
a national skateboard competition for the best 12-Under Skateboarders was hel at 3rd Lair Skateboard Park. Heimana qualified
for the National Event at Skatelab Skateboard Park in Simi Valley, California. Heimana was 1 of only 125 skateboarders from
around the country to qualify for this event. What is even more amazing is the fact that Heimana was one ofthe few skaters that
qualified in all three disciplines of skateboarding (bowl, mini-ramp, street).
At the age of 10, Heimana was holding his own against the best 11 and 12 yaer olds. Upon arriving in Minnesota, Heimana
developed flu-like symptoms. Battling a fever and bad cough, Heimana stepped up his game.
He moved through the semi-finals in all three events. On Sunday, Heimana competed in the finals. In the bowl competition,
Heimana skated a flawless run and finished 2nd. Heimana next took on the mini-ramp and again put on a perfect display of coping
tricks and airs. Heimana finished 2ndin mini-ramp. The final event of the was the stree competition. Although physically drained,
Heimana managed to get through his run a respectable 7th in street.
When it was all said and done, Heimana was relieved. Heimana was smiling from ear to ear as he collected some amazing prize
packages for his efforts. The trip to Minnesota and all the suceess Heimana has is in large due to the support he has from his sponsors.

Hawaii wins 2 out of 3 events inhis respected divisions of the 7th Annual King of the Groms(www.kingofthegroms.net)12 and Under Skateboard Contest
series held at Skatelab, throwing down the hammers in the bowl,miniramp and streetcourse. He also qualified in all 3 events
(1st - int. bowl, 1st - beg. street,11th - int. miniramp) for the National Championships(invite only) on Feb 20th - 22nd, 2009 at 3rdlair Skatepark in

Highlights include dropping in on vert for
the first time, clearing a 3 flat 3, foam-pit training, pole jam, tail
blunt to fakie, euro-gaps and the progression continues!
